Here at Park Avenue Baptist Church, our worship is best described as “convergent worship.” Convergent worship seeks to break down the barriers that have formed over time—barriers that divide the church into categories like traditional, contemporary, blended, modern, or emergent. We believe worship should not be limited to a single style, but should instead reflect what Christ intends for His kingdom.
Convergent worship brings together multiple styles, eras, and artistic expressions to create an environment where people can fully participate, encounter the love and person of God, experience His powerful presence, and embrace His purposes for their lives.
