Women's Ministry

Welcome to our Women's Ministry at Park Aveneue Baptist Church. We are so glad that you are with us and are interested in knowing more about us. We believe God has created each woman with a unique purpose. Psalm 139:14 says, "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full well." It is our desire to encourage, support, nurture, and help equip you to find this purpose as you face the joys and struggles of life. We would love the opportunity to meet and get to know you and allow you to get to know us.

Our Purpose

~ To connect women of all ages and stages of life
~ To encourage women to seek their uniqueness in Christ
~ To equip women for blessing others in love, grace and the truth of Jesus Christ

Opportunities for You to Connect with Other Women

Summer Fun Event
This evening of fun occurs each summer. Centered on a theme, ladies are welcome to dress the part or come as they are for dinner, games and entertainment. This evening creates an opportunity to re-connect with friends as well as make new ones.

Ladie's Tea
Join us the first Sunday in November for an afternoon of delight as we gather around tables set with elegant decorations. We enjoy tea with light snacks followed by an inspirational speaker and entertainment.

Bible Study
Various Bible studies are offered in the spring and fall. Please contact a Women's Ministry Team member or watch our announcements for specific topics, dates and times. Nursery care provided for studies meeting on Wednesday morning.

Other Supported Ministries

Titus 2 Moms
These once-a-month meetings occur on Wednesday mornings from 9:00am-noon. Gathering in a different home each month, older women mentor and encourage young mothers. Attendees bring a brunch dish to share.

Heart to Heart
A six-week program designed for women, each three-hour session begins with one-hour of cooking class. The following hour is a Bible study based on Titus 2:3-5. The class concludes with a final hour of fellowship enjoying the food prepared in class. The six lessons are led by a different mentor each week. Lasting friendships form through the ministry of Apples of Gold..
